At our house we make each other presents instead of buying them for Christmas.  Santa can bring them other things but we make each others.  These can be made for any Winter Holiday you celebrate.  They can be hung on a tree, on a nail in the wall, for decorations and many more options. My boys have been having a blast making these.  Here is a sneak peak of one of them so don’t tell the other family members about them!

Phoenix decided to make ornaments for everyone.  We had found some great old computer parts at the Local College Surplus Store.

We took the middle out of these (kids love to take things apart!!!) and then we got glue and sparkles of all kinds:

He had so much fun gluing these sparkles on the disks.  He picked out items he though each person would like and made the cutest ornaments with them.  We then tied ribbon through them and YIPPPPEEE  all done.  What a fun and easy project for kids.

I think the family will love their presents this year…so fun!

I love this idea, my favorite ornaments on my tree are the ones the kids made when they were little
    Thanks for sharing!

  2. Public Service Announcement for using common sense with this project or any projects for that matter: never let small children use sharp tools when taking things apart (or participate in any activity that could hurt them).

  3. Hello there, You’ve performed a great job. I’ll certainly digg it and in my opinion suggest to my friends. I’m sure they will be benefited from this website.
