Eco Wedding Decorations with Mason Jars July 23, 2013

My amazing  brother just got married to an equally amazing lady.  They decided to make their decorations eco friendly.  I love that and so many other things about them.  One of the very cool items at their wedding were these awesome Mason Jars that they used as lights:

These are simple to make and added such an awesome touch to the wedding.  You only need the following items to make these:  twine, raffia, burlap, glue gun, scissors, buttons and a recycled mason jar or glass containers from food.

First step is to cut the burlap so that it fits nicely spaced around your glass jar:

Then take your glue gun and glue the burlap into place…this program has momentarily been interrupted for some awesome lawyer talk…becareful, only use if you can handle a glue gun responsibly without hurting yourself, oh and same thing with the scissors when you use them.

Then cut the raffia and twine long enough so you can tie a bow around the glass jar:

Then you can use some of your buttons and glue them on also to decorate it with your wedding colors.  We then put a fake light in it so that it would not melt the glue when it was lit.  Look how cool these turn out:

These turned out so amazing with flowers and lights in them.  They were used on the tables and on these great logs also:

Here is the awesome couple on their special day.  They own an amazing Healing Center that has Yoga, Acupuncture, Message and Herbs.  Their business is called Neighborhood Acupuncture and Healing Arts and they totally rock!  You can find  more info on classes on their website at: http://www.naahac.com/ and on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/NAAHAC

Spot on with this write-up, I must say i think this amazing site needs a lot more consideration. I’ll likely to end up again to read much more, thanks for that info.

Exceptional read, I merely passed this particular onto a colleague who had been doing a minor research on that. And he actually bought myself lunch because I found it regarding him grin So permit me to rephrase that.
